A brief overview of what you plan to do for your TIP/SAG:
We will watch a video of “The Tortoise and The Hare” as a class, and discuss the moral/lesson of the story. Using a graphic organizer we would then help the students think about the meaning of the fable and create a mind map as a class to represent these ideas. Students will then break into groups of 3-4 and use storybird.com to write and illustrate their own story/fable incorporating the same moral/lesson from “The Tortoise and The Hare”. Students will write their ideas and create their draft on paper thoruought the week and using storybird.com they will create their final product on friday. Finally, in their groups, students will present the stories they created to the rest of the class.
